CENTER VALLEY, WI – The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Thursday that they arrested an SUV driver after colliding with two motorcycles and a semi-truck Wednesday.
NBC-26 said the reason for the arrest was because the SUV driver, a 38-year-old Appleton man (whose name was not released), had driven with a suspended license and caused a crash that resulted in Great Bodily Harm, which is considered a felony charge. He has been booked into the Outagamie County Jail.
To recap, this crash happened when the 38-year-old man did not yield the right of way to the two motorcyclists and collided with both of them at the CTH S and Wisconsin 47 intersection.
The SUV driver and one of the motorcyclists hit the semi-truck.
It appears the SUV driver and semi-truck driver, a 23-year-old man from Green Bay, were unharmed, while the two motorcyclists were critically and seriously injured.
The two motorcyclists were not identified by name but by age. First responders said they were a 36-year-old man from Milwaukee and a 64-year-old man from Appleton.
The 36-year-old man was left in critical condition, and the 64-year-old man was in serious condition.
In addition, the passenger from the SUV, a 49-year-old man from New London, was also injured, although his wounds were deemed minor.
