MILWAUKEE, WI – A 22-year-old man, who later fled the scene, was attempting to change lanes when he struck another vehicle driven by a 31-year-old woman, resulting in her death.

This collision happened before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the vicinity of North 95th Street and West Brown Deer Road, CBS 58 said.

Milwaukee police indicated that after the 22-year-old man fled the scene, the 31-year-old woman lost control of her ability, which affected her driving ability, leading her to drift off the road and crash into a traffic post, streetlight and then a tree, prior to the car overturning and hitting a chain link fence.

Upon arrival, police declared the woman descended at the scene. Police said the man managed to undergo medical treatment for his injuries prior to fleeing the scene.

Officers said the man was located before 10:30 p.m. in the area of 27th and Vienna and booked into custody. The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office will be the one to review his charges.
