LESSOR, WI – A 13-year-old girl lost her life following a single ATV collision outside her home in the vicinity of Landstad Road and Two Creek Road Wednesday.
According to WBAY, the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office and ThedaStar medical helicopter were dispatched to the scene.
First responders said they conducted life-saving measures on the teenage girl (the sole occupant of the ATV) at the scene. Despite their best efforts, she succumbed to fatal wounds moments later.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is the appointed authority to investigate the circumstances that led to this crash.
