NEW BERLIN, WI – A man fleeing from police crashed the car he was driving into two vehicles, ending the pursuit and sending two people to a hospital Friday.
Officers told TMJ4 that prior to the crash, they tried to pull over the man on West National Avenue as he was driving a car reported stolen. The man did not stop, which initiated the pursuit.
After he crashed into the two vehicles, he fled the scene on foot but was later apprehended. He was booked into custody. No charges were reported against him at this time.
As for the two wounded individuals, officers did not specify if they were both drivers from the two separate vehicles or if they were two occupants from one vehicle. Nonetheless, they did say the two were set to receive medical treatment for non-life-threatening wounds.
