NEAR NORTH DU LAC, WI – A motorcycle passenger died, and a motorcycle operator was hospitalized after they were struck by a driver of a commercial vehicle turning left Wednesday.
This collision happened after 5 p.m. on County Highway OO, according to CBS 58.
Authorities identified the motorcycle passenger as 29-year-old Mikayla Breister. First responders took the motorcycle operator, a 30-year-old man (not identified by name), to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Wisconsin State Patrol, who responded to the scene, started an investigation and did not include other details, including whether the truck driver was injured or if they would be charged.
