RACINE, WI – A driver suspected of impairment was driving at a high rate when he rear-ended another vehicle, leading both cars to overturn and injuring the other driver Sunday.
Mount Pleasant Police told TMJ4 that the 28-year-old was going south on Meacham Road at a rate of 100 mph prior to the cars crashing and rolling over. They confirmed the other driver sustained minor wounds and was taken to a hospital.
Police did not specify if the 28-year-old man was injured but did say they arrested him for OWI resulting in injury, “three counts of 1st degree reckless endangering safety, reckless driving, and two counts of bail jumping.”
