BROWN COUNTY, WI — A 55-year-old man from Howard was fatally injured in a single-vehicle accident early Friday on a highway overpass in Green Bay, according to NBC26.
The accident happened on the Atkinson Drive bridge that runs over Interstate 43. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene just after 5:40 a.m.
While the circumstances of the crash remain unclear, Green Bay Police said the road was shut down as the Green bay Accident Reconstruction team conducted an investigation.
By 8:45 a.m., all lanes were reopened to the public.
Authorities did not say whether the victim died at the scene or at a hospital.
