WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — One person was injured in a crash involving a Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office deputy Sunday morning near Pewaukee, according to TMJ4.
The WCSO said the accident unfolded on Redford Boulevard near the Bluemound Road (County Highway JJ) overpass, just before 10:00 a.m.
An early investigation found that the deputy was responding to a prior crash involving three vehicles on Redford Boulevard when he became involved in the second crash.
While the deputy was not hurt, the driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
An investigation is being conducted by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
