RACINE COUNTY, WI — A crash involving a school bus was reported Thursday afternoon on Goold Street in north Racine, according to TMJ4.
The accident occurred at the intersection with Erie Street, about two blocks west of Racine Zoo. It was first reported at around 12:00 p.m.
Very few details have been made available, but authorities said a school bus was transporting at least one student when it collided with a truck.
Surveillance footage recovered by Racine Police shows the school bus driver had a stop sign, while the other driver did not.
No major injuries were immediately reported.
Thursday’s school bus crash follows a school bus crash just the previous day, which involved a city bus and resulted in serious injury to at least one person.
Investigation into both Thursday and Wednesday’s crash remain underway. As of this writing, drivers in both incidents have not been cited.
