KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — Following his first court appearance, a 21-year-old man who was charged for his role in a double-fatal crash late July in Kenosha has now had his bond set at $500,000, according to TMJ4.

Authorities said Pleasant Prairie resident Ajay Gregory Pierangeli, who was 20, was intoxicated when he crashed a red pickup truck into Play It Again Sports, located at 4017 75th Street, on Friday, July 28, at around 3:30 a.m.

He has since been charged with two counts of “homicide by intoxicated use of vehicle” in the deaths of two other young adults who were in the pickup. They have been identified as Dylan Zamora, 22, and Jenna Barrette, 21.

For the two surviving victims, two men ages 21 and 20, who were left in critical condition, Pierangeli was also charged with “Injury by Intoxicated Use/Vehicle and OWI Cause Injury 2+.” He may face more than 60 years of prison time and thousands of dollars in fines if convicted of all charges.

Authorities said Pierangeli is now being held on a $500,000 bond after appearing in court on Tuesday, August 22.
