KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — Two young adults have been identified as the victims who died early last Friday after a vehicle crashed into a building in southwest Kenosha, reports TMJ4.
The fatal wreck took place at Play It Again Sports of Kenosha, off 75th Street (Wisconsin State Highway 50) and 40th Avenue, on July 28 at around 3:30 a.m.
According to Kenosha Police, five people were traveling in a pickup truck when the vehicle slammed into the building.
Four of the five occupants suffered serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital. Two of the victims, 22-year-old Dylan Zamora and 21-year-old Jenna Barrette, were pronounced deceased.
Authorities said the other two patients remain hospitalized as of Wednesday, August 1. The fifth person who was in the vehicle was treated for less serious injuries and was released.
At this time, the KPD has not released any further updates on the investigation.
