KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — Two people died early Friday morning after a vehicle slammed into a building in Kenosha, leaving two other people critically injured, reports TMJ4.
The accident occurred at Play It Again Sports of Kenosha, located on 75th Street (Wisconsin State Highway 50) near 40th Avenue, at about 3:30 a.m.
While it is unclear what caused the wreck, preliminary details show a pickup truck carrying five people crashed through the building that houses the business.
Four occupants in the vehicle suffered serious injuries and were rushed to a local hospital. Two of the victims have since succumbed to their injuries, confirmed officials. The two other patients remain listed in critical condition.
Authorities have not said whether the fifth occupant was hurt, and no information regarding the victims’ identities have been disclosed.
