FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WI — A vehicle accident Tuesday night closed all southbound lanes on U.S. Highway 151 near south Waupun, according to We Are Green Bay.
The collision occurred on a stretch of the southbound highway at Exit 144 to Wisconsin Highway 26 shortly after 7:30 p.m.
It was unclear what led up to the crash or how many vehicles were involved, but the scene remained on the roadway for nearly five hours, causing long delays.
Southbound lanes were not reopened until around 12:05 a.m., indicating a major wreck and an extended emergency response.
As of this writing, authorities have not disclosed details regarding any serious injuries.
