BURLINGTON, WI – A 34-year-old adult, who was a Pizza Ranch employee, died after getting struck by a trash truck while walking to their own vehicle Monday.
Burlington Police said the events of this crash unfolded before 10 a.m. when the driver of the garbage truck was putting the truck in reverse and hit the employee in the Pizza Ranch parking lot at 960 Milwaukee Avenue.
The employee was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
No other details, including the name of the victim, have been released.
