WAUWATOSA, WI – Three people from Illinois stole some jewelry at the Mayfair Mall, then took off in a stolen Kia and crashed it prior to getting arrested Friday.
The chase was initiated before 4:30 a.m., beginning in Washington County and then ending at the US Highway 41 and Highway 60 intersection, CBS 58 reported.
The driver, a 21-year-old adult, tried to escape but was captured shortly after. They are taken to a hospital for a medical exam, while the two other occupants, a 46-year-old and a 48-year-old, were immediately apprehended and unharmed.
Authorities started an investigation and have not provided additional commentary at this time.
