WEYAUWEGA, WI – The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Wednesday that a driver who caused a head-on collision Monday with reported wounds will be charged with an OWI.
WBAY identified the driver as Daniel Pachecobolanos. In addition to the one count of OWI that resulted in injury, he will also face “three counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety.”
To recap, this collision happened before 8 p.m. when Pachecobolanos drove east on westbound U.S. Highway 10. When authorities started their investigation, a “criminal complaint” told them that Pachecobolanos had four beers prior to operating a vehicle.
Pachecobolanos already made a court appearance and will go to court again on a date that is to be determined.
