WEYAUWEGA, WI – County officials suspect a driver was impaired when they drove east on westbound U.S. Highway 10, injuring themself and the three others from the hit vehicle.
This wrong-way collision happened before 8 p.m. Monday. NBC26 said all occupants are at a hospital recovering from unspecified injuries.
Authorities arrested the wrong-way motorist on suspicion of driving while under the influence that led to an injury, driving without a valid license that ended in injury, and “second-degree recklessly endangering safety.”
Officials started an investigation and have not provided additional details at this time.
