RACINE, WI – Racine Police said that a BMW driver was traveling at a high rate when he collided head-on with a Chevy Saturday, resulting in the BMW and Chevy motorist’s deaths.

According to CBS58, this wreck happened before 4 p.m. in the area of South Memorial Drive and 12th St, which is east of Washington Park High School.

Prior to the head-on collision, the BMW driver, who was only identified as an 18-year-old man, drove in the left lane before losing control of his car.

The 18-year-old man and the Chevy driver — a 46-year-old man — were in critical condition before passing away from their wounds.

Police also said that a minor, who was a passenger in the Chevy, suffered minor to moderate wounds.

Both vehicles sustained damage and were taken away from the scene. Police did start an investigation but did not release more information concerning Saturday’s wreck. Still, anyone who can provide more details on this incident is asked to contact the Racine Police Department at the phone number listed in the source.
