GRAND CHUTE, WI – Five children were sent via an ambulance, and one adult was airlifted to a hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash Thursday.
Grand Chute Police told WBAY this collision took place before 8 a.m. at the northbound I-41 and North Lynndale Drive intersection. The adult and one child, who did not wear seatbelts, were thrown from the vehicle. Upon arrival, first responders immediately provided medical attention and assistance to the ejected adult and child, along with the rest of the passengers.
Police said that several other collisions took place after this initial crash.
It is not immediately clear what led to this wreck, and officials have not provided an update on the wounded individuals. This news blog will be updated as more details surface.
