MILWAUKEE, WI — Multiple people were left trapped Friday morning after a school bus crashed into a building in Milwaukee’s Riverwest area, according to TMJ4.

The collision occurred near the intersection of North Holton Street and East Locust Street and was first reported by TMJ4 at 9:20 a.m.

Milwaukee Police said that a Lamers Bus Line vehicle collided with a pickup truck towing a trailer, and the impact of that crash sent the bus into a building wall, blocking the building’s only entrance and exit.

While no children were aboard the bus at the time of the accident, the owner of the struck building said a number of people who live inside were left stuck inside the structure.

Despite the damage to the building, as well as two other vehicles, no major injuries have been reported.
