MILWAUKEE, WI — A fleeing vehicle caused a multi-vehicle collision Tuesday evening in southwest Milwaukee that involved an MPD squad car, according to TMJ4.
Surveillance footage recovered from the area of Muskego Avenue and Mitchell Street shows the collision unfolding at about 5:42 p.m.
Preliminary details indicate a Milwaukee Police cruiser was following a small green car as it traveled down Muskego Avenue at a high rate of speed. The green. car then runs a red light and T-bones a minivan at the intersection, pushing the van into another MPD squad car that was stopped at the light.
At this time, authorities have not released any other details regarding the circumstances behind the chase. It’s also unclear whether anyone was seriously injured in the crash.
