RACINE COUNTY, WI — One person was injured Tuesday afternoon as a result of a crash that left them trapped on 5 Mile Road in Racine, according to Racine County News/Scanner.
The accident happened at the intersection with Wisconsin State Highway 31. Caledonia Fire Department crews and Caledonia Police responded to the scene at about 3:45 p.m.
Although a sequence of events leading up to the wreck has not been shared, one person was trapped in the wreckage of a vehicle and needed to be extricated.
Following the event, officials have not shared further information regarding the extent of the patient’s injuries.
