MILWAUKEE, WI — A 5-year-old child was hospitalized Tuesday, February 6, following a pedestrian accident in the Morgandale area of Milwaukee’s south side, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The incident unfolded near South 13th Street West Morgan Avenue, just before 6:00 p.m.
Details are limited, but Milwaukee Police said the child had run into the roadway just prior to being hit by the car.
First responders transported the victim to a local hospital for injuries considered non-fatal. No other information about the patient’s condition has been made available.
The driver stayed behind at the crash site and cooperated with officials.
An investigation remains underway.
