News: Car crashes into building, causing damage to two West Allis businesses

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Property damage was reported the morning of Saturday, February 3, after a driver crashed their car into a building in West Allis, according to TMJ4.

The incident took place at the corner of South 68th Street and West Lincoln Avenue, at the structure that houses Anthony’s Appliances, as well as Piece of Love Cake and Coffee.

While the events leading up to the wreck have not been specified, a surveillance camera captured the vehicle slamming into the appliance store, causing significant damage to the business and the neighboring Piece of Love.

No injuries have been reported following the collision, but the owner of Piece of Love said the business faces a substantial financial loss.

West Allis Police confirmed that only one vehicle was involved. Investigators have since identified a possible suspect who has not yet been located.
