MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle accident was reported Monday afternoon on Interstate 41 near southwest Milwaukee’s Alcott Park and West View areas, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes from West Beloit Road and was first reported by 511 at 3:08 p.m.
Officials have not said what led up to the wreck, but two left northbound lanes were blocked for nearly 40 minutes before the scene was moved to the shoulder.

By 4:14 p.m., over an hour after the initial report, crews had cleared the accident out of the area.
