WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — A man was arrested for suspected Operating While Intoxicated last Thursday, February 8, after a crash near Pewaukee that left two other people injured, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
Wisconsin State Patrol troopers responded to the collision on a stretch of Interstate 94 at Redford Boulevard (Exit 295).
According to preliminary details, a 41-year-old man was behind the wheel of a vehicle that was traveling erratically before it hit another car, and then a concrete median.
Two people inside the victim vehicle were injured, but officials did not immediately indicate the severity of their conditions.
The driver of the striking car was found to be “under the influence,” and was placed under custody for an investigation into “two counts of OWI causing injury, following too closely and reckless driving.”
FOX 6 Milwaukee noted that the OWI offense would be the suspect’s fourth, if convicted.
