MILWAUKEE, WI — Multiple people were evaluated following a multi-vehicle pileup on an Interstate 43 exit ramp near Glendale, according to TMJ4.
The accident happened on the northbound I-43 ramp to Port Washington Road and West Silver Spring Drive. It was first recorded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation shortly after 8:00 p.m.
A sequence of events has not been released to the public, but North Shore Fire/Rescue officials said a series of crashes involved at least 15 vehicles.
First responders evaluated an unspecified number of people at the scene, but no one was transported to a hospital directly following the incident.
The exit ramp remained closed as of 10:00 p.m. the same night, as crews worked to clear the scene.
No charges have been reported at this time.
