MILWAUKEE, WI — A 63-year-old man was injured Tuesday morning due to a hit-and-run collision in northwest Milwaukee’s Franklin Heights area, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The incident was reported at the intersection of North 27th Street and Capitol Drive some time after 6:00 a.m.
An early investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department indicates the victim’s vehicle was struck by a driver in a black pickup truck, who then fled the scene before first responders arrived.
The victim, a 63-year-old whose identity remains undisclosed, was transported to a local hospital for injuries considered non-fatal.
