MILWAUKEE, WI — Firefighters had to extricate one person after a crash late Sunday morning, February 18, north of downtown Milwaukee, according to TMJ4.
The accident happened at the intersection of Milwaukee Street and Water Street, just east of the Milwaukee River and within the city’s Lower East Side neighborhood. Milwaukee Fire Department crews responded to the area some time after 11:08 a.m.
A sequence of events leading up to the wreck has not been shared, but the MFD said one person was transported to a local hospital after being extricated from the wreckage. The extent of the patient’s injuries was not immediately clear.
Officials have not confirmed the number of vehicles involved or whether anyone else suffered injuries.
