WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Authorities were called to a semi-truck wreck late last Friday morning, December 29, near Carroll University in Waukesha, according to Waukesha Alerts.
The incident was reported at the intersection of South East Avenue and East College Avenue, near the university’s Campus Center. At least two City of Waukesha Police Department units were dispatched to the scene at around 11:24 a.m.
Callers indicated to authorities that a reckless driver was responsible for a semi-truck that slammed into a traffic standard. The semi was then observed running a red light and proceeding to drive away from the crash site.
