MILWAUKEE, WI — Crews were dispatched to a collision involving a school bus and an SUV Monday morning in northwest Milwaukee, according to TMJ4.
The accident happened near the corner of West Congress Street and North 44th Street, in the city’s Lincoln Creek neighborhood.
Preliminary details and witness accounts indicate a number of drivers were attempting to avoid striking a young man who appeared to be scraping ice from a car parked along Congress Street. The crash occurred while as many as four cars and the bus were “swinging out” and away from the pedestrian.
While TMJ4 news crews observed students on the bus, no injuries were reported, and the vehicles appeared to have only sustained minor damage.
The Milwaukee Police Department has not disclosed any other details at this time.
