MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A passenger car overturned during a crash late Tuesday morning, causing delays on Interstate 43 near River Hills, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The wreck unfolded on the southbound highway at Good Hope Road, just north of Glendale. It was first reported by FOX 6 at 11:07 a.m.
While the cause of the accident remains under investigation, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office and multiple other emergency crews were seen responding.
A photo captured at the scene shows a dark-colored passenger car flipped onto its roof. It’s unclear whether anyone was seriously injured or had to be extricated.
All southbound lanes of I-43 were shut down in the area, creating significant delays.
