MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A 28-year-old Oak Creek resident was arrested early last Friday following a police pursuit and crash in Greendale, according to CBS58.

The events unfolded near 76th and Hill Ridge Drive some time before 3:00 a.m., when the suspect, who was initially stopped by officers for speeding and registration problems, drove away from the scene.

Some time later, the fleeing vehicle went airborne and lost control as the suspect made a turn, causing the car to slam into the north side of Chase Bank, off 76th and Rawson.

The suspect was arrested in a wooded area near the scene, where Franklin Police Department officers joined Greendale Police.

While no major injuries were reported, significant property damage to an “electrical box, gas meter, downspout,” and area landscaping was reported.

Officials say the suspect faces multiple charges.
