MILWAUKEE, WI — A police pursuit led to a multi-vehicle collision Monday evening in northwest Milwaukee’s Sherman Park neighborhood, according to FOX 6 Milwaukee.
Milwaukee Police said officers were in the area of 26th and Lisbon at about 7:00 p.m. when they first encountered a stolen car suspected to have been involved in an armed robbery. A chase was initiated when the driver refused to comply to a traffic stop.
A preliminary investigation indicates the suspect vehicle ultimately collided with three other cars on North Sherman Boulevard at West Center Street.
The suspect driver, a 31-year-old woman, tried to flee the scene on foot but was apprehended and arrested shortly after. Her passenger, a 35-year-old man, was also taken into custody.
While no one was reported hurt following the crash, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office is expected to review criminal charges.
