MANITOWOC COUNTY, WI — A 69-year-old man was arrested for his fourth Operating While Intoxicated offense following a rollover crash Monday in Two Rivers, reports WBAY.

The accident happened in the 4200 block of Memorial Drive (Wisconsin State Highway 42).

Two River Police said officers arrived on the scene to find a vehicle flipped onto its roof, at rest in the snow bank. A female passenger was able to exit the vehicle without injuries, but Two Rivers Fire Department crews had to extricate the male driver from the wreckage.

The driver, identified as Manitowoc resident Jeffrey Leifer, was placed under custody for 4th Offense OWI. He was transported to Aurora Medical Center for unspecified injuries and then booked into Manitowoc County Jail.

Part of southbound Memorial Drive was shut down for over an hour during the investigation.
