MILWAUKEE, WI — Crews were dispatched to a crash early Thursday evening on Interstate 43 in northwest Milwaukee, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident happened on the southbound highway approaching Exit 73A to West Walnut Street, in the city’s Triangle North neighborhood. It was first recorded by 511 at 5:27 p.m.
Very few details have been released following the wreck, but the two right southbound lanes were blocked for over 50 minutes, suggesting a more involved emergency response.

By 6:18 p.m., only the right lane remained blocked, and at 6:30 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway.
