News: 2 sent to hospital after vehicle collides with school bus in NW Milwaukee, driver sought

MILWAUKEE, WI — Two people were injured Wednesday evening when a driver crashed their vehicle into a school bus and fled the scene in northwest Milwaukee, reports CBS58.

The accident happened at the intersection of Center Street and North 35th Street at around 5:35 p.m.

Milwaukee Police said a vehicle struck the school bus, which caused the bus to strike a third vehicle. The causing driver then fled the scene in their vehicle before authorities arrived.

Two people from the bus, including the driver and an adult passenger, were transported to an area hospital for injuries considered non-life-threatening.

An investigation and search for the hit-and-run driver remain underway.
