News: 2 hospitalized after ATV crash off Shady Lane Rd in Oak Grove

DODGE COUNTY, WI — Two people suffered serious injures Saturday, January 13, due to an ATV accident in east Oak Grove, according to We Are Green Bay.

The accident happened on Wild Goose State Trail, in an area about 100 yards south of Shady Lane Road. Deputies with the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at about 9:10 p.m.

Preliminary details indicate two people were traveling on an all-terrain vehicle when it crashed for unclear reasons.

The driver, a 31-year-old Watertown man, was seriously injured. He was transported to Marshfield Medical Center, along with his passenger, a 30-year-old Watertown woman. The woman was then later transferred to the UW Hospital in Madison with serious injuries believed to be life-threatening.

No further details have been made available at this time, but an investigation is being handled by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
