News: 1 injured in collision on County Hwy A near Town of Dover

RACINE COUNTY, WI — A crash last Thursday at a Town of Dover intersection known for problems left one person injured. according to FOX 6 Milwaukee.

The accident happened in the area of County Highway A  (Plank Road) and Wisconsin State Highway 75 (South Beaumont Avenue). Kansasville Fire Rescue Department crews and Racine County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the scene at about 9:30 a.m.

Details remain limited, but a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Camry had their airbags deployed and sustained moderate damage as a result of the wreck.

The incident left crash debris scattered across the roadway, prompting a temporary closure of the area as first responders tended to those involved and worked to clear the scene.

The driver of the Corolla was transported to a hospital in Mount Pleasant with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. Their passenger did not report an injury and declined to be examined or treated at the crash site.

KFRD Firefighter Friedrich Glas observed that the crash marks the third injury collision at the intersection that drew a response from the department.
