FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WI — One person died Saturday, December 2, after their sedan collided with a semi-tractor trailer in Fond du Lac County, according to CBS58.
The Wisconsin State Patrol said the accident happened on a driveway off Wisconsin State Highway 175. Multiple area agencies were dispatched to the scene.
Details are limited, but the semi-tractor trailer was reversing into the driveway. At one point, the sedan hit the semi-tractor trailer and became pinned underneath its trailer.
The Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner pronounced the driver of the sedan deceased at the scene. One passenger in the same vehicle suffered critical injuries and was rushed by medical helicopter to an area hospital.
No injuries to the truck driver were reported.
A crash reconstruction and investigation by the WSP remains ongoing. No charges have been reported as of this writing.
