KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — A box truck became fully engulfed in flames Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 94 in west Kenosha, according to FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The accident happened near the Wisconsin State Highway 158 overpass (Exit 342) at around 2:10 p.m.
Officials with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department said the driver first observed smoke coming out from the cab and pulled over in the area. Shortly after a sheriff’s deputy arrived on the scene to check on the driver, the truck was completely covered in flames.
No significant injuries were reported following the event, and firefighters were able to put out the blaze, which left the vehicle destroyed.
Authorities have not confirmed the exact cause of the fire.
