SHAWANO COUNTY, WI — Part of U.S. Highway 45 was closed in both directions Friday morning in the town of Grant following a collision, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident happened at Wahler Road and was first reported by 511 at 7:33 a.m.
Little information has been made available, but both northbound and southbound lanes of US-45 were blocked for nearly two hours, suggesting a major crash and a more involved emergency response.

Shortly after 9:20 a.m., the scene had been cleared and the roadway was reopened.
