RACINE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle accident involving a deer was reported early Monday, December 11, on 5 1/2 Mile Road in central Caledonia, according to Racine County News/Scanner.
Caledonia Police and Fire Department crews were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of County Highway H (Howell Road) at around 12:10 a.m.
While few details have been made public, dispatchers indicated that a vehicle crashed while attempting to avoid a deer in the roadway.
It was not immediately clear whether the vehicle ultimately made contact with the animal or if anyone was seriously injured. No hospital transports have been reported.
