RACINE COUNTY, WI — Part of northbound Interstate 94 was blocked late Wednesday morning in Caledonia following a collision, according to FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The Racine County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened near Exit 326 to 7 Mile Road at around 11:10 a.m.
While a sequence of events leading up to the wreck has not been shared, the closure remained in place for more than 2.5 hours.
All traffic had to be diverted off the interstate and onto a frontage road. Motorists were directed to re-enter I-94 via Elm Road in Oak Creek.
At around 2:00 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all travel lanes were restored to traffic.
No major injuries have been reported at this time.
