MILWAUKEE, WI — One person lost their life Wednesday morning after a wreck in Milwaukee’s Southgate area that left another person in critical condition, reports TMJ4.
Milwaukee Police say the accident occurred on South 27th Street at West Oklahoma Avenue, near the Leon’s Frozen Custard store. It was first reported by 6:27 a.m.
According to preliminary details, a driver failed to stop at a red light at the intersection, causing the vehicle to crash and land on its side with its roof pulled off.
The vehicle’s front seat passenger, who was ejected, succumbed to their injuries at the scene, confirmed first responders.
The driver was rushed to a local hospital, where they were last listed in critical condition.
