MILWAUKEE, WI — A rollover crash involving two vehicles Monday night in Milwaukee’s south side left one person trapped and injured, according to FOX 6 Milwaukee.
Milwaukee Fire Department officials said the accident unfolded at the corner of South 20th Street and West Howard Avenue, near Wilson Park. Crews were dispatched to the area some time after 8:15 p.m.
The events leading up to the wreck have not been disclosed, but an SUV overturned, trapping one occupant who had to be extricated by responding firefighters. That patient was then transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
At least part of the intersection was blocked during the response, but the scene was cleared by 9:30 p.m., over an hour after the initial report.
The Milwaukee Police Department continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
