WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI — One person died Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle wreck on Wisconsin State Highway 21 in the town of Omro, according to WBAY.
The fatal accident happened at Scott Street and was first reported at around 7:47 a.m.
Authorities have not released a sequence of events leading up to the crash, but first responders arrived on the scene to find one driver unconscious in their vehicle. Despite life-saving measures, that victim succumbed to their injuries before they were able to be rushed to a hospital.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office said the second driver, who suffered injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, was transported.
No other information indicating the victims’ identities or the cause of the crash has been disclosed.
