WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI — A Slinger High School senior was put into a medically-induced coma last Wednesday following a wreck on Interstate 41 near Richfield, reports WISN.
The accident happened at Holy Hill Road (Wisconsin State Highway 167) on November 1.
According to local police, slick roads were a factor in the teen’s car losing control and colliding with the median barriers. The vehicle then overturned onto the northbound lanes.
First responders had the victim flown to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, where he was put into a medically-induced coma because of a brain injury.
No other major injuries have been reported, and no other information has been shared.
