MILWAUKEE, WI — One person died Monday night following a pedestrian crash in Milwaukee’s Harambee neighborhood, according to TMJ4.
The incident occurred at the intersection of West Center Street and Vel R. Phillips Avenue, prompting a response from EMS personnel at about 8:55 p.m.
A preliminary investigation found that the 31-year-old victim was on the roadway when they were struck by a westbound vehicle.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other identifying details have been released at this time.
Authorities said the driver stayed at the crash site and cooperated with an investigation, which remains ongoing.
