MILWAUKEE, WI — One driver was arrested after a two-vehicle wreck Saturday morning in Milwaukee’s Capitol Heights area that claimed the life of the other, reports CBS58.
The accident happened at the intersection of Capitol Drive and Appleton Avenue at around 8:30 a.m.
Milwaukee Police say one driver, 34, was traveling eastbound when their vehicle collided with a westbound vehicle while trying to turn left onto Appleton Avenue.
First responders rushed the driver of the westbound vehicle, 40, to an area hospital, where the patient was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the first vehicle was arrested following the crash and faces charges currently under review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
An investigation remains underway.
